My Toyota Camry LE needs a new neutral safety switch, is it necessary to replace it or can I have it adjusted?

My Camry was just diagnosed with a problem with the neutral safety switch. I like to save some money by having the part adjusted by the autoshop. Is it possible? Or should I have it replaced? I can get a part from Auto Zone and have it installed. What’s the best way to go?

When a neutral safety switch goes bad, adjusting is pointless. Replace it.

The cheaper route and latter to adjust it will cost you twice once to adjust it and latter to get it and save bunch of money for your gas tank bjerry.
