My 2000 Toyota Camry is making a deep groaning sound when accelerating, especially in middle RPM’s. It seems to get louder if I drive it longer. It never used to be this loud up until recently. Any ideas if this could be serious or what it could be?

Could be that you’re running low on transmission fluid. Or that your fan belt needs to be repaired, but that’d be more associated with a high pitched sound.
Anyway, yeah, I think you’re out of transmission fluid.

Could be serious. Take it to a trusted mechanic.
