For a Toyota Camry V6 from 1992-2006 or a Toyota Avalon from 1995-2006,the owner’s manual states that you can use the regular 87 octane, but it also states that the premium fuel(91 or higher) is recommended for optimum performance.Which octane would work better in the long run & last longer without having a mechanical problem?

I would just use 87 for daily driving but for traveling or long driving id use a higher octane.Lower octane for lower compression vehicles and higher octane for higher compression vehicles, octane does not increase horsepower it only prevents pre-igniton
