How to pry off the trim ring around the door release handle for Camry 98?

I want ot know how to pry off the trim ring around the door release handle for my Camry 98. I removed the screw already, but cannnot get the trim ringoff. Need help and thanks in advance.

      The pull if you may break it in half.

      Door handle trim rings are normally held on by clips from the inside of the door. You need to remove the inside door panel carefully. That will expose the workings inside of the door.
