Well I think it is the catalytic converter, my 2.2 liter Camry is an extremely loud car and the noise is coming from the front. Any idea on how much it’s going cost fixing it at the shop? Is this possible to fix by myself?

Take it to an exhaust shop and let them fix it.

    2. Doc Says:

The cost depends on the leak cause of it and labor rates.
The leak around the location of the catalytic convertor is not noise reducer you probably have an exhaust leak cause of the manifold the location of it and labor rates.

An exhaust shopyou could prob do it yourself but its prob do it yourself but its prob.

yes but the catalytic converter is all most in the middle of the car. not the front.

they are welded on but you can cut the pipe and install the cat. and use 2 muffler clamps as long as it don,t leak.
