John S asked:

Thinking about buying a 2010 toyota camry, do not know how much i should spend. How much have you guys spent when you bought your camry, and in which year. What kind of offer did you get from the dealer. I just need a reliable car to commute between school and work, not a sport car, so can somebody estimate my price range on a 2010 Camry for me.
Thanks in advance.

Toyota Engine Replacement: A Good Option

Monday, February 8th, 2010

John David Embry, Jr. asked:

In the spring and summer of 2008, the prices on used cars began to trend upwards. With the economic collapse that followed, many consumers began to repair their vehicles instead of replacing them. This makes financial sense, even for major repairs, which can often be completed at a fraction of the cost that would be incurred with the purchase of a new car. What is considered a major repair? To me, a major repair consists of completely replacing a major system of a car: brakes, suspension, or drive train (engine or transmission).

Toyota’s deserve unique consideration for engine replacement. First of all, they suffer a very low percentage of engine failure when compare to other automotive engines. The only auto producer with more vehicles on the road than Toyota is General Motors, yet Toyotas typically need only a fraction of non-standard maintenance repairs performed on them.

There are several Toyota engine families on the road right now.

Perhaps the most common is the 5SFE engine found in the Toyota Camry and some Toyota Celicas. This engine, used in Camrys as late as 2001, is in literally millions of vehicles. This commonality doesn’t mean that there are thousands of used engines available that are ready to drop in your Camry; rather, it means that there are millions of high mileage Camry engines. When buying a used Toyota Camry engine, you should make sure that you buy only an engine with a CARFAX to verify the mileage, or that has been machine tested. The great thing about Toyota Camry engines is that often, they can be sourced from Japan and purchased with very, very low mileage, saving you time and giving you many years of use.

The next most common late model Toyota Engine family is probably the 5VZFE. This engine can be found in the Toyota Tacoma, Toyota Tundra, and Toyota 4Runner, among other engines. These are excellent engines. In fact, I’ve sold these engines to customers who claimed they had gotten over half a million miles on their original engine. 5VZFE engines commonly need their “dummy water pump” replaced.

So what does the informed consumer need to know about buying a used Toyota engine? The first thing you need to know is that a quality engine will come with a quality warranty. Unless a Toyota engine is worn out, any company you consider buying from should give at least a six month warranty. Personally, I would never buy a Toyota engine that didn’t come with at least a full year for the warranty. Secondly, it is important to have something concrete about the condition of the engine. A free CARFAX can verify the mileage of an engine, and that it has never been in a flood. Machine testing is also a great way to assess the condition of a used engine. Lastly, deal only with companies that are accredited by the Better Business Bureau. The internet is full of fly by night companies who talk a good talk, but then aren’t there to stand behind their warranty. BBB Businesses are held to standards that these fly by night companies just can’t meet.

Helping Your Body Live Forever!

Thursday, February 4th, 2010
camry
Camry James asked:

Toxic Environment

Toxins contaminate our systems on a daily basis. They are unavoidable… we find them in our water, our air, our food, and our surroundings. Where can we go? Nowhere, but what can we do? Lots!

We All Want To Live Forever

So does your body. Your body wants to live forever; it wants to be free from all pain and illness; it actively desires complete healing to take place within it at all times. Your body is your friend and partner in your effort to regain health. The body has the innate capacity, knowledge, and wisdom to heal itself at any time–if it is allowed to do so. The body possesses its own healing ability and the wisdom to direct this ability. The only thing we must do is let the body conduct its work with as little interference as possible. We can furnish it with the highest-quality raw foods when it needs it or abstain from food when it doesn’t desire it. We can exercise and rest the body, and give it fresh air and sunshine. Other than that, all we can really do is wait patiently and intelligently and not become alarmed by the symptoms of its healing or try to suppress those symptoms–even if we are healing heart disease, cancer, AIDS, or any other degenerative condition. You must trust your bodies ability in healing itself. After all, which man made machine is every as effective? Nothing comes close to the complexity of the human body.

Consult the Real Doctor Within You

If you have faith and trust in your body’s ability to heal itself, the unpleasant symptoms, which may accompany this healing, become more bearable and are not a source of fear or misgiving. Ultimately, we must let our body perform its health-restoring work at its own pace. The real doctor is within–the body alone is capable of performing all the needed healing functions. The cellular intelligence driving the body is infinite in its capacity. We need not have any fears about its wisdom or ability to restore itself to the highest-possible level of health and well-being.

Coffee, Are They Contamination As Well?

The stimulating effect of caffeine in cola, coffee, tea, and chocolate are well known. Substitute for cola: for the caffeine green tea; for the sugar it contains (one 0.2 l. glass contains 3 spoons full of refined sugar) you can drink fruit juices instead as it contains no artificial stimulants and its healthy for you as well!

Substitute for coffee:

Japanese or Chinese green tea. Gives the same kick because it contains the caffeine but is less worse because it does not contain the stomach irritating substances.

Your Health!

Bowel movements are the basis of your health. If you don’t have at least 1 bowel movement per day, you are already walking your way toward disease. Man’s body has not changed very much in the past several thousand years… however man’s diet has certainly changed a lot. All the refined sugar, white flour, hormone/antibiotics-filled meats we constantly ingest constitute an assault on our bodies. We are continuously violating our bodies by eating terrible foods. Colon cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S.

Effects of Toxins

1. Purify the blood and eliminate toxins

2. Prevent bloating

3. Improve liver performance and bile flow

4. Reduce the harmful effects of toxin build-up on skin, coat, joints and digestive system

5. Assist with systemic recovery after illness, medication side effects or vaccination

6. Maintain healthy thyroid functioning

Most Effective Detox Method

Both sauna baths and steam baths stimulate circulation and respiration, reduce muscular tension and cleanse and rejuvenate the skin and body through perspiration.

Some researchers also believe that sauna use may help melt and sweat out cellulite. We reserve judgment on this until we see further evidence, but it is certainly plausible - do your own research if this potential benefit is important to you. However, most important of all, sweating flushes out toxins which are embedded in your body which otherwise has no other way of coming out!

We urge you to find out more about why Sauna is the best method for detoxification.

The Toyota Venza Crossover

Monday, February 1st, 2010
camry
Jess Hoffman asked:

Whichever label you would like to give it, the new Toyota Venza looks like a winner.

Think of the Venza as a station truck and you’ll probably get the point. Naturally, it does not look exactly like any station lorry we have seen before. Exposed at Detroit’s northern US World vehicle show in January, Venza drew tons of attention. Among vehicles now available, it reminds us the majority of the Ford Edge crossover.

There’s a lot of the Lexus RX350 in this Toyota, too, though the Venza is pressed down closer to the ground, and sleeker. Its front end is taller, but definitely molded in the theme of Toyota’s current Camry sedan. The Venza’s rear glass has a pleasant, long rake, and its taillights wrap round the rear fenders onto the hatch. Its standard wheels measure nineteen inches in diameter, while 20-inch spoked alloys are optional. In sum, the Venza is one of the more handsome, interesting vehicles Toyota has launched in some time.

A look at its dimensions brings the crossover label into proportion. At 109.3 inches and 189 inches, respectively, the Venza’s wheelbase and overall length match both Bell Road Toyota’s Camry sedan and Highlander sport-utility within fractions of an in… Put simply, the Venza’s footprint on the pavement matches both Camry and Highlander closely. Yet with an overall height of 63.4 inches, the Venza slots right in the middle of the Camry and Highlander. It’s ride height falls somewhere in the middle, too.

The 2009 Venza seats five, like the Camry, rather than seven like the Highlander. Its rocker height, or the lip round the bottom of its passenger doors, is low, making it easy to lift feet inside, yet the hip point for seated occupants is higher than the everyday sedan’s. The combination should deliver a mixture many buyers seek : easy ingress and egress, with a higher seating position for an improved view around tall vehicles on the road.

The 2009 Venza should reach showrooms with the standard model year changeover in early fall 2008. It is going to be built at Toyota’s assembly plant in Georgetown, Kentucky.
